Who I Am

My name is Baraa Alshaer, and I am a software engineer from Gaza. I am fundraising to support my personal relocation to a safer and more stable environment. This is entirely for my own expenses, not for anyone else or any organization.

The Challenge

Life in Gaza has made it impossible to find meaningful work as a software engineer, and opportunities to build a stable future are almost nonexistent. During the war, I spent long nights learning English and improving my skills so I could prepare for immigration.

Where I Am Now

I am waiting for the Rafah crossing to open so I can begin my immigration process. Every day brings uncertainty, and the financial cost of relocating is overwhelming. Now, I am focused entirely on preparing to leave, but I have no foundation to start with once I travel.

My Hope

I am hoping to raise $5,000 to cover the essential costs of relocation. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help me move toward safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild my life and career in a safe environment.
